Mary and the team at Schrödinger’s Books welcome you to a wonderful independent bookshop which is very much alive! We opened in August 2019 in a beautifully refurbished building and stock a wide range of new books including many Science titles of GNS and STEMM interest as well as those for the general reading enthusiast. We also have a large Children’s section with books for all ages, as well as Young Adults, General Fiction, Crime fiction, Science Fiction and Fantasy, NZ Fiction & Poetry, Politics, History, Travel, Health, Medical & Psychology, Sustainable Living, Natural History, Cookery, Gardening, Music, Art and, of course, Aotearoa.
We are always happy to help with your selections and make a recommendation, and if we don’t have what you are looking for in stock, we will order it in for you. If you really can’t decide, we also have Schrödinger’s Books vouchers in denominations of $5, $10, $20 and $50.
